Ondo joins Broadridge to give tokenized stocks holders proxy voting, investor updates, and stronger onchain equity benefits globally.
Ondo has partnered with Broadridge Financial Solutions to expand rights for tokenized stock investors. The transaction enables the owners of Ondo tokenized stocks and ETFs to obtain investor communications and participate in proxy voting. Thus, onchain investors can now enjoy the advantages more akin to traditional shareholders across the globe.
Ondo Deal Expands Rights for 250+ Tokenized Stocks
The news is significant since tokenized equities are rapidly expanding. These products expose stock to blockchain networks. Consequently, investors are able to trade at a faster rate and with increased access. But prior to this partnership, governance rights were frequently restricted.

Broadridge is a large financial infrastructure firm. It transacts over 15 trillion securities each day. Moreover, it provides investor communications to more than 10,000 public companies. Thus, its penetration into tokenized markets contributes to high credibility.

Ondo will benefit holders of over 250 tokenized stocks and ETFs. Such investors have the ability to examine prospectuses, filings and governance documents. As a result, they can have a better insight into the company decisions when they possess blockchain-based assets.
New Voting Access for Onchain Investors
The token holders are able to present voting preferences of underlying shares through the partnership. The weighting of those recommendations will be determined by the ownership of tokens. Then Ondo will assist in linking tokenholder decisions with the corresponding stock positions.
The investor messages will be sent to the token holders by Broadridge using its current system. Traditional shareholder votes can also be combined with vote preferences with the approval of Ondo Global Markets. Thus, tokenized investors might obtain a more active role on the market.
This is a significant shift in tokenized equities. In the past, most investors were able to get price exposure only. They were able to exchange tokens but were not much involved in governance. Now, the rights of participation can become much better.
Global Head of Institutional at Ondo Finance Matthieu de Vergnes described the move as significant. He opined that tokenized stock holders must have access to governance features such as regular shareholders. Simultaneously, they continue to retain blockchain advantages.
The advantages of blockchain are rapid transfers and 24/7 access to trading. In contrast to most traditional markets, tokenized assets can trade 24/7. Thus, investors can have flexibility and increased engagement.
Bridging Traditional Finance and Blockchain
Broadridge also termed the launch as a milestone. President of Investor Communication Solutions, Doug DeSchutter, stated that the company is expanding voting systems to Web3 markets. This demonstrates the adaptation of traditional finance companies.
The collaboration helps Ondo in its bigger mission. The company indicates that tokenized stocks must be equivalent to conventional market standards wherever feasible. In the meantime, blockchain tools must introduce new access and efficiency.
Ondo is now the biggest market share tokenized stock platform. It is reported to dominate approximately 70 percent of the industry. Moreover, it has over 800 million in total value locked.
The platform has over 250 tokenized stocks and ETFs. These assets can be found on Solana, Ethereum, and BNB Chain. Thus, the products are available to users on some of the largest networks.
Big industry names also support Ondo products. They are Binance, Bitget, MetaMask, Ledger, and Blockchain.com. Greater adoption can be assisted by broader support to attract more users to tokenized investing.
The tokenized real-world assets market has been growing steadily. Investors are increasingly demanding blockchain versions of stocks, bonds, and funds. Thus, businesses that enhance trust and utility can spearhead the next growth cycle.
However, regulation is also a significant aspect. Traditional securities laws are frequently linked to new technology through tokenized equities. Consequently, companies have to strike a balance between innovation and compliance.
On the whole, the Ondo and Broadridge alliance is a big step. It bridges the gap between traditional finance and blockchain markets. Therefore, tokenized stocks can be more helpful, trusted, and mainstream in the future.
