Securitize appoints former Nasdaq executive Giang Bui to expand regulated tokenization, issuer partnerships, and compliant digital securities infrastructure growth.

Securitize has appointed former Nasdaq executive Giang Bui to expand regulated tokenization initiatives across public and private capital markets. The appointment is a sign of growing institutional interest in compliant blockchain-based securities and issuer-led digital asset strategies.

Securitize Strengthens Issuer Strategy with Nasdaq Veteran

Giang Bui is a Vice President for Issuer Growth at Securitize, and his focus is on regulated tokenization for public and private market issuers. She will help issuers looking for compliant blockchain structures that offer real ownership rights and operating efficiency.

Previously, Bui was in senior leadership positions at Nasdaq, the New York Stock Exchange and Cboe Global Markets. Most recently she was the head of U.S. Equities and Exchange Traded Products strategy at Nasdaq, where she supported exchange growth initiatives.

At Nasdaq, Bui worked on building digital asset ETF operations, including work on spot Bitcoin ETF listings. She liaised closely with issuers, regulators, liquidity providers and internal legal teams during intricate approval processes.

Securitize said that Bui will be focused on issuer-led tokenization to provide dividends, voting rights, disclosure, and resilient market infrastructure. The firm believes that tokenization is the next evolution of market innovation that is regulated.

ETFs proved that financial innovation can be done on a large scale under robust regulatory supervision. Similarly, Securitize aims to apply those lessons to tokenized securities across the traditional asset classes.

Bui will also enhance relationships with asset managers and corporate issuers. Her part is supporting the migration of traditional assets into compliant digital formats using blockchain infrastructure.

In addition, she will participate in product strategy using her extensive experience with traditional market structure. This includes improving the issuance, custody, and secondary trading workflows for tokenized securities.

Tokenization Momentum Grows Across Capital Markets

Tokenization adoption continues to gather steam as institutions are trying to find efficiency, transparency, and programmable ownership. As a result, demand is growing for platforms that merge blockchain innovation and regulatory compliance.

Securitize sets itself up as infrastructure for compliant digital securities issuance. Issuers are focusing more on regulatory clarity, investor protection, and scalable market access when considering tokenization.

Bui’s experience in the market structure of ETFs provides Securitize with a better approach to engage issuers. Her background includes experience with listings, trading environment and working with regulators and liquidity providers.

Beyond exchange leadership, Bui is on the advisory board of Markets Media’s Women in Finance Asia. She is also a member of the Security Traders Association Markets Media.

Securitize is a company that believes that regulated tokenization can provide institutional-grade ownership standards. These include transparent disclosures, governance rights and regulated trading in the secondary markets.

As global regulation continues to evolve, issuers are looking for experienced partners that can help them effectively navigate compliance. Bui’s appointment shows how mature tokenization is as a capital markets solution.

Industry observers are starting to see regulated tokenization as a structural shift, and not just a short-lived trend. As a result, exchange and ETF know-how leadership can help hasten the adoption of such technologies at the institutional level.

Securitize continues to invest in compliance first digital asset infrastructure. The company strives to drive forward the modernisation of capital markets with trust, transparency and regulatory confidence.
